Project iAchieve is Expanding!

Creighton School District's Project iAchieve began during the 2010/2011 school year. The initial focus of Project iAchieve was on implementing over 700 iPod touches into classrooms across the district to enhance student reading fluency and comprehension. At the beginning of the 2011/2012 school, iAchieve added 2 iPad learning labs for student use.

Project iAchieve is now piloting a flipped classroom/reverse instruction model in a 7th grade math classroom. The students have all been issued iPads to use both at school and at home. The students are watching math videos at home to learn the content and spending class time to practice and apply the skills with the teacher available to facilitate the learning.

This blog will document the experience through the eyes the teacher, Mr. Valdez, and the technology coach, Ms. Sallee. Be sure to check back often and see how our project is growing!
